Maria Levato, author of The Islands of Rune (April 2023), lives on the Delmarva peninsula. She is a veteran of the USMC and has an A.S. in Business Administration. Maria is an active supporter of the arts as she’s a member at the Chrysler Museum of Art, as well as the Maryland Writers Association where she volunteers to help young writers develop their skills. In addition to her love of the arts, she is passionate about animals. On top of having three pets of her own, Maria also volunteers at the Wicomico County Humane Society in her spare time.
